Twenty-seven years ago today the Milwaukee Bucks handed the New Jersey Nets a game one defeat in the opening playoff round. The Bucks sharpshooter Craig Hodges was “enfuego”*.
In just 30 minutes of floor time Hodges scored 25 points on 10-of-11 shooting. Don Nelson‘s Bucks went on to win the series and their next before losing to the 1986 world champs Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.
