LeBron’s Crazy Heights

Last season LeBron James posted the fifth highest effective field goal percentage of any player who averaged twenty-five points per game in an NBA season.  His 60% eFG last year is higher than was ever posted by Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal, Wilt Chamberlain or Larry Bird.  In 2013 LBJ was nearly perfect from the floor.

So what has he done in 2014?  The Heat forward is pushing 62% eFG this year…on pace to be the greatest shooting season ever, just ahead of Charles Barkley‘s peak in Philly.
