Splitting The Screen with Mark Price: Grantland

During their Second Birdmester Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose highlighted former Cavaliers great Mark Price. They compared Price’s ability to split the screen to current day guards Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, Jamal Crawford and Kyrie Irving.  For the youngsters asking who is this Mark Price guy check him out in his eleventh NBA season schooling Allen Iverson.

I remember Mark Price having some sweet playoff games in his day.  Try 35 points and 10 assists in a first round win over the Drazen Petrovic, Mookie Blaylock and the 1992 New Jersey Nets.  Price also had a 31 point outburst against Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.  Mark went 11-of-14 shooting from the floor in addition to making all 9 free throw attempts.
