Reggie Evans, Wow!

The Brooklyn Nets power forward Reggie Evans accomplished something totally historic this year.  His 38% Defensive Rebound Percentage is the highest in NBA history.

Unfortunately we don’t have Off/Def rebound breakdowns for Bill Russell.  The Celtics great may very well have the all-time DRB% record, perhaps one day we will find the answer.

Here is the top-20 Def Reb Pct in a single season since 1974 when the NBA began tracking D. Rebounds:

Evans and Dennis Rodman have 4 of the top-6 all-time Defensive Rebounding seasons.  Hats off to the Nets for picking up Evans.
