Aaron Gray Resurgent in Toronto (MARK BLINCH, Reuters Photo )
Toronto Raptors center Aaron Gray was practically nonexistent in his first 22 games played this season. The big man averaged 2 points, 2 rebounds, 50% FG in 10 minutes/night.
A lot has changed for Gray since the trade away of prospect Ed Davis to the Memphis Grizzles. The Raptors have had the fortune of all-star caliber play at the center position in their last 4 games all against playoff teams.
Over this time Gray is producing 11 points, 11 rebounds, 59% FG in 28 minutes.
The Raptors can rest easy that they have a wonderful stop gap solution inside while Rudy Gay becomes comfortable with the team.
